In other news, we have moved! We have left our little bunny hatch apartment (it almost got us too!) and have moved on to renting a little house off the hill. It is a quaint little house, which seems to be the term used when describing something incredibly small and poorly built, but I really do like the place (even if there is an ever present whiff of natural gas lingering by the door). I have a bigger kitchen and we actually have a dishwasher which made me almost cry with delight when I saw it. Speaking of crying, the bathroom was so cold that I actually cried the first time I took a shower, but with extra space heaters, the temperature has finally normalized to a liveable chill.
We have a cozy living room where all our friends can fit comfortably, and my piano can even fit there (yes, that's right! I do have a piano - you just haven't seen it because it was previously shoved into my bedroom). We have a yard too! Two of them in fact, front and back - though the back is more like a weedy field right now. It is a large weedy field though. Oh yes, how could I forget? To top it all off, we have a white picket fence! You heard me, every girl's dream right?...I'm totally loving it.
