First of all (firstly?), "First" is a really weird word if you think about it. Say it out loud a couple of times and you'll see what I mean. But this weird word is being used a lot around our house lately. Since having a new baby we get to be excited about a lot of "Firsts" like Bubba's first smile and first bath and first Halloween. So I just wanted to share some of these firsts.
In the time honored tradition of babies' firsts Halloweens, Bubba was a pumpkin. At least he was if you used your imagination. He had on an orange shirt with green pants and a green "stem" which was really a hat I knitted up really fast with a pompom on the top. We went and got pumpkins to decorate our door because, let's face it, I absolutely love pumpkins! And so it makes sense that Bubba was a pumpkin. I love him, I love pumpkins... yeah. Bubba got his own tiny pumpkin to celebrate his first Halloween. It is tiny like he is and it was truly a squee moment.
Before our Bagoo (which is what I usually call him) could become a pumpkin, however, he first needed a bath. And that was too cute to not put a picture up of. And those are the firsts I have documented by picture so far. One day I'll catch him when he is smiling and share that too.

He is so freaking cute! My kids had to come and see him and when I said "Come see baby Vincint," Jera told her brothers, "come see baby Instant!" I think that might stick. lol Love you!
